Get ready to learn lots of cool things you can do with your serger while making this crossbody bag. There is a small amount of stitching with a sewing machine, but 99% is created with a serger.  Final Dimensions are 9 1/2in x 10 1/2in. While making this project you’re going to gain many skills and discover exciting techniques you can achieve by using your serger, such as:

  • Install 4.5mm – 5.0mm nylon coil zipper along top
  • 2-Thread Flatlock wide decorative stitching on front and clever back pocket detail
  • Discover best practices on working with cork material
  • Create a Narrow hem for the adjustable straps
  • Make and attach piping on the front and around corners with a unique technique

This project can be stitched on any machine as long as your serger has the listed stitches and presser feet.
