Float into Style with a Bias Cut Skirt!

Date: Wednesday, August 13th

Time: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Join us at ABQ Sewing Studio for a fun and informative workshop where you'll learn to create your very own beautifully draping bias cut skirt. In this class, we will be using Pamela's Patterns Favorite Bias Skirt pattern, a versatile design that allows you to create a stylish skirt in either a flattering maxi length or an elegant below-the-knee length.

Discover the magic of cutting fabric on the bias, which gives garments a gorgeous drape and a comfortable fit that skims the body. Our experienced instructor will guide you through each step of the process, from understanding the pattern and selecting your fabric to cutting accurately and mastering essential sewing techniques for bias-cut garments.

In this class, you will:

  • Learn the principles of cutting fabric on the bias.
  • Understand the construction of Pamela's Patterns Favorite Bias Skirt.
  • Receive step-by-step guidance on cutting your fabric accurately.
  • Master essential sewing techniques for bias-cut seams and hems.
  • Gain confidence in working with bias-cut fabrics.
  • Leave with the knowledge and skills to create more bias-cut garments in the future.
