The Casual Blazer - a 2 Day Class

Friday, July 12 and 19, 10am - 4pm

Get ready to elevate your wardrobe with our second instalment of the Wardrobe Staples series! In this class, students will have the exciting opportunity to create their own casual blazer, tailored to fit their unique style and preferences. We've curated three fantastic options from Simplicity Pattern Co., each offering its own distinct features and design possibilities.

First up, we have Simplicity Sewing Pattern No. 8844, a versatile choice that allows you to make the perfect blazer to fit your style. With sleeve and collar variations included, you can customize your blazer to suit any occasion. Plus, with separate pattern pieces for B, C, D, and DD cup sizes, as well as petite fit guides, achieving the perfect fit has never been easier. This pattern fits sizes 6 - 24.

Our second option is Simplicity Sewing Pattern No. 9468, offering a relaxed unlined jacket in two lengths. Featuring dropped shoulders, patch pockets, sleeve bands, and a back slit, this pattern provides plenty of opportunities for customization. Choose from two shawl collar options or opt for collarless views to create a blazer that reflects your personal style. This pattern also fits sizes 6 - 24.

Lastly, we have Simplicity Sewing Pattern No. 8697, perfect for those looking to achieve a chic oversized boyfriend blazer look. Available in Misses' and Women's sizes 10-18 and womens 20W-28W, this pattern includes four styles that you can mix and match to create a one-of-a-kind look. With options for notched or shawl lapels, you can tailor your blazer to suit your individual taste and preferences.

Before class, be sure to stop by the shop to choose your pattern and select the perfect fabric for your blazer.  You can even make an appointment with Irene to get it just right. (519-205-0523) Whether you prefer a classic tailored look or a more relaxed oversized fit, we have the perfect pattern and fabric waiting for you. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to create a wardrobe staple that you'll love to wear for years to come!
